A versatile medium sized engineering company that undertakes a wide variety of engineering projects and services for numerous industries.
The Role
My client is looking for an excellent Design Engineer; reporting directly to the operations director you will ideally have experience or knowledge of steels processing industry and a more general knowledge of mechanical engineering/handling.
Hours & Days:
40 hours per week Monday to Friday
About You:
Educated to degree/HNC level with a hands on ability to design in the structural and mechanical fields. The more complicated structural work will be carried out by specialist designers however the mechanical work will see you involved with the design of motor/geared drives, sprockets, shafts, bearings etc. You must be competent in Microsoft Word, Excel, Project, Autocad & Solid Works. Experience of project management is also essential.
